This is a musing with myself regarding the work Timmy and I are both doing to remove our respective armours. It came to me this morning that it wasn’t only Timmy that had anxiety about removing his protective shield, but I did too…
This journey is a step each day. And it is interesting how the universe helps us along although it may not feel like it sometimes. Often when you are working on yourself something will happen to help you see the behaviour you had, your response to something, so you can see what needs to be let go of. It will only do this when you are ready to see it though, ready to make the change.
For me today, I got back from this walking talk and my husband said something that I took as a dig. Because I have worked a lot with ‘talking out loud’ (instead of just seething inside and making molehills into mountains) I asked him why he was digging at me, and he said ‘ I’m not. It is you taking it as that’. That was interesting and led to me realising the armour I put up to protect myself even when I don’t need to. A huge habitual response from many events in the past including bullying, being picked on, being teased, and so on, that is being let go, and mirrors Timmy with his cribbing behaviour totally. I have worked with all these things in the past and made peace with them. This has now come around to help me change the reactive automatic behaviour.
I love these steps and their outcomes and I hope you are getting as much out of these musings as I am. Maybe it triggers you to start to consider a behaviour of your own or your animal. If so please feel free to contact us if you want to discuss it, or become a member and enjoy the support that comes from knowing other people are working through similar things.
I may share some more of this story tomorrow – we will see where both Timmy and I are in relation to the healing around these behaviours.
I am sharing the comfort of a citrine crystal with Timmy as we both now let some light into our solar plexus area.
Adhere to the path that feels difficult, yet creates possibility, instead of reverting to the path that feels safe due to it’s familiarity, yet spirals inwards to stagnation.
