Self Awareness Explorers Retreat Southern Africa

A collage of wildlife images featuring a nyala antelope near water, hippos in a river, a diver with a shark, a breaching whale, a giraffe silhouetted against a sunset, a group of zebras, elephants with young calves, and a close-up of a lion cub.
A diver swimming beneath the surface of the water with dolphins, showcasing a close interaction between humans and marine life.

This amazing womens’ retreat takes you to Ponta Malongane on the south eastern tip of Mozambique where we will commence our self-awareness exploration in the environments of Water and Air, and meet the animals of the sea. October is the last month of Whale Migration season along the east coast of Africa, and with the right combination of weather factors we may be honoured by their majestic presence. Wild pods of Dolphins bring a joyous and playful element to our visit, and the unspoilt beaches and reefs provide an abundance of experiences.

From here we move South and inland, crossing the border into South Africa, where we will continue with our self-awareness exploration in the environments of Earth and Fire at Tembe Elephant Park. Every day we will be taken out to meet Elephants, Lion, Giraffe, Buffalo, Zebra, and a myriad of animal and birdlife.

A group of elephants, including an adult and a calf, standing in a grassy area. The adult elephant is drinking water while the younger elephant observes.
Silhouette of an owl perched on a branch against a twilight sky.

But this is not just a typical multi centre safari holiday. In-between these wonderful environmental connections outwards, we journey inwards too, discovering our peace of mind, intuition, and inner strength. Daily we will explore our own internal connections to the elements: our hearts (water), our minds (air), our sovereignty (earth) and our will (fire).

We close our exploration in St Lucia, South Africa, where Hippo’s roam, balancing all the elements both without and within, and understanding the possibility of walking in both worlds.

Numbers are intentionally limited to 10 participants to create a deeply personal and supportive self-awareness exploration experience.
