Links to the Physical Body
A balanced crown chakra aids in balancing the pituitary gland. It also is linked to the nervous system and the overall endocrine system. Problems in any of these areas often times show an unbalanced crown chakra, which suggests an emotional block around belief systems, sometimes caused by ego attachment, and often by fears of betrayal – being betrayed or betraying.
Enhancing Self Awareness enables us to sense when the body is signalling that a story we are telling ourselves needs to be changed from within. Understanding our thoughts, emotions and physical body, as well as our patterns and habits, enables us to see where we are stuck and make changes which then enhance our physical health.
So, with the crown chakra, understanding our spiritual path and defining our belief system and values can be a first step to balancing the crown chakra and its associated physical systems. Letting go of feelings of betrayal also goes a long way to supporting our crown chakra. These fears of betrayal tend to be around our belief systems, whether they be spiritual, religious, or values based.
Finding peace at this level and connecting deeply back to nature, spirit, earth, gods and /or godesses, the cosmos, and very importantly your own values, and learning to live a human life knowing these connections have your back and your values define you and shouldn’t be dismissed by anyone, least of all yourself, is extremely important for balancing the nervous system.
