2023-12-18 How we think about an animal’s body can create anxiety.

At the last session I asked Esther to go and talk out loud to Astuce about how she feels about trust. Over a few days the relationship changed, as Esther bought her own trust issues into the present and released them, so Astuce could feel more at peace around Esther.

This culminated in being able to get Astuce’s hooves trimmed last week.

At about 4mins into this video Astuce and Anah join us, and a minute or two later, Astuce shows us how much easier and confident she feels with Esther touching her, and also we can see how Esther is a lot more at ease with the flow of conversation between her and Astuce.

At 9 – 10 minutes we are talking about Anah. There is a bit of a desire coming out to ‘fix’ her by looking for external answers. She has had a conversation with an animal communicator but I cannot sense that Esther and David felt much had changed.

I have had a conversation with Anah through our connection to share her path for a bit and ask her questions, which she was willing to answer. Two things showed up : the first was a lot of swirly energy around the herd and where she fits in; the second was a sense that her head and body were disconnected, and she did not feel good about her body.

There is a discussion and a commencement of understanding of the way we can sense how an animal feels, but then reflect that back instead of just accepting that feeling is somebody elses. These things work both ways. Astuce was reflecting Esthers distrust back. Now there is reflection back to Anah of worry or concern about her body which adds to the feeling she has already of ignoring her body.

“Try and sense how you feel around Anah. Have a conversation with Anah, not asking questions, but just talking. Also tell her how beautiful she is. Consider parts of her body and change the colour consciously. Change the words you use for that part of her body consciously.

Talk out loud. Talk honestly. Share feelings. When you are used to talking then move to questions and listening for the answer.”
