Merging with the Element of Water

Imagine………………

Imagine you are part of a cloud;

Let go of the cloud and fall

Fall and fall and fall, until you are stopped by the gentle cushion of a leaf.

Allow yourself to be gently consumed by the leaf.

Become a part of the rivulet that travels along the stalk, and

Slowly dribble down the stalk to the earth.

Follow your friends as you dive into the element of earth

Flowing into bigger and bigger rivulets running through her,

Until you are part of something bigger, something more forceful, as

You feel yourself pushed upwards back into day light.

You absorb, and also reflect, the sunlight, the star light, and the moon light, as

Their fire feeds us our intention to keep moving.

You join forces with others into a strong flow over the earth.

Flowing around rocks, over sand and stone, between mud banks,

Sometimes finding yourself blocked by human constructions, until

Once again you are on the move again.

Forever flowing, and joining forces, until

Slowing, meandering, exploring,

Feeling a pull towards the vast openess of the ocean, then a push back,

Then a pull forward again.

Eventually becoming one with ocean, exploring further,

Riding the waves, the falling into the depths, then riding the waves.

Moving from cold, to warm, to cold,

Meeting sand, stone, ice, corals and all manner of beings, until

Once more into the warmth and heat as we pop up from the waves,

The element of air aiding us back to our cloud.
