Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) Coach & Reiki Practitioner
I am Michaela and I met Karen, the Founder of Animal Communication & Beyond, whilst exploring the Trust Technique.
I have been on my own journey with my horse, Frosty, for the last 8 years. He is that one horse that comes into your life and turns your world upside down, making you question everything you think you know about horses and related training, management methods.
As part of that journey he directed me down a self development and healing route, where I discovered Reiki & Energy Healing. I qualified as a practitioner in 2020, and went on to qualify in Equine & small animals the following year. I now specialise in Equine Reiki and have a number of clients who have benefited greatly.
It became clear to me that most of my equine clients were very affected emotionally & energetically by their humans, which took me down a new path exploring Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL). Frosty & I spent a year at an Equine Therapy centre and I qualified as an EFL Practitioner in early 2022. It certainly was our calling.
Since then Frosty & I have been working with people and their horses to improve connection and assist with behavioural issues.
From the human side, we have helped many clients with a multitude of emotional challenges including depression, anxiety, grief, being overwhelmed by today’s lifestyle, and many others.
I am very passionate about constantly learning, changing and improving what I do, and being the best companion I can for Frosty, which is how I crossed paths with Karen.
I am delighted to be partnering with Animal Communication & Beyond. Its mission is very close to my heart.
