This is the first time Querida has chosen to stay with me in the arena. Working at finding a peaceful relationship between us and the head collar has paid off and shows here. The first little bit also shows how we can find peace with not eating very quickly now. This is an important step I feel, as I would really prefer her not to suddenly stop for a munch with the saddles chariot behind her!
In the last section you will see that we start to really find a peaceful place in the arena together. Also I have her full focus including when I put the rope over her back. She doesn’t take the opportunity to move away. This is all we did because each step is so important. She was focussed on me until I released her by unclipping the rope. Both of our focus was in the present moment. Perfect.
